The thing that I love about rain is that it forces you into situations that you wouldn’t be in otherwise. You always come up with something unique and wonderful. This was the case with Steve and Melissa wedding day. We packed into a trolley and drove around puddle filled streets in St. Louis running trying to stay dry and grab some good shots. It was adventurous and altogether amazing.
The best thing about this wedding was that it wasn’t about the weather it was about love. Steve and Melissa love each other very much. I realized this standing in the pouring rain under an umbrella when I saw their faces light up when they saw each other for the first time. I saw it in their faces the rest of the day.
This is truly the best part about my job. That I get to work with people that are really, really, really in love and they trust me to capture that love on one of the most important days of their life.
Now I get to share it with you. That’s the second best thing.
Steve and Melissa wanted to see each other where they got engaged, and due to a time restraint they had ride the trolley together. They came up with the solution of putting a blindfold on Steve. I thought this made for a great moment and a great picture.

Melissa bustled her dress in a tight hallway. I used this time to get some close up action.

At the end of the night we broke out the WILD BOOTH. The results never cease to amaze me.
