I met Micah and Mary Marshall two years ago and they easily became two of my closest friends.  I observed the awkward excitement of their first few dates, witnessed the inevitable ups and downs of the relationship, and participated in countless back-porch “relationship talks” with Micah.  You could say I was slightly invested in this one.

The most beautiful part of their story is the way Micah, driven by his faith in God, pursued Mary Marshall.  He fought tooth and nail to win over this strong-willed woman.  And although it wasn’t easy, he did capture her heart.

Not only do I love this couple, I love all the people who were involved in this wedding.  I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know both of their families and will tell you that they are some of the most loving and honorable people I have ever met. Finally, this destination event gave me the opportunity to take a memorable road trip to Asheville, North Carolina (one of the coolest cities i’ve ever visited) with all of my best friends.  Truly, one of the best experiences of all time.
