Fletcher and Megan are such a delight! Megan was one of the most laid back brides that I have ever had. I was under strict instructions not to stress out about anything, and to simply catch little candid moments during the day. “I don’t care about all that posed stuff,” she told me before the wedding. Of course I snuck them away after the ceremony for a short portrait session. I just can’t help myself! With a natural beauty like Megan it was hard to stop clicking the shutter.

Megan was trying to give me the days schedule, but I just kept shooting.

In the picture below a bee flew by and through my lens out of focus. I love that it happened because I think this could be my favorite picture from this wedding.

Ashley got out in the street to direct traffic so that I wouldn’t get hit by a car while shooting the girls portraits!

This photo wasn’t going to make it to the blog, but I had to put it in. I hurt myself trying to get this shot. I tried to jump up on this ledge to get a better angle and tripped and fell crashing my cameras together and scraping my hands on the concrete. Needless to say I made a fool of myself in front of the wedding party. I had to put this photo in so that I could say that it was all worth it to get this wonderful shot!

miranda: Lang, i read the comment about you falling down the steps and it made me laugh. Why? Because i was recently at a wedding at the olmstead and as the bride and groom were about to leave and everyone was holding their sparklers i came tumbling down the steps. in front of everyone. now i dont feel so alone!
